Summary

Focuses on the results of recent research. According to researchers, training employees to treat others well can improve bottom-line performance for an organization. Researchers found that when customers observed employees interacting poorly, it increased the likelihood that they would form negative opinions about the company. This could lead to lower levels of loyalty and less likelihood that customers would be willing to purchase a good or service from that kind of employer.
