Focuses on the issue of employee performance and retirement savings. A survey by the Society for Human Resource Management found that employee worries about money are impacting work performance and retirement savings plans. About 55% of employees say they have been more likely in the past year to dip into their retirement savings plans than in previous years. 22% of HR professionals say that financial challenges have a large impact on work performance. Work performance affects and/or is affected by: struggling with the ability to focus on work (47%), overall employee stress (46%), employee productivity (26%), employee absenteeism and tardiness (24%), employee morale (20%), and employee health (12%). 52% of organizations say that they currently have financial education for their employees.
